Lavender infused oil is an all-year remedy. You can use it to alleviate sunburns and bug bites in the summer and keep you moisturized all winter. Plus, it smells amazing. I learnedĀ this basic tutorialĀ over theĀ summer, when my mom signed us up for a virtual class with Kami McBrideĀ (I highly recommend taking one of her classes for a more in-depth understanding of herbs and oils).

There are several types of oils you can use. I recommend olive oil, sunflower oil, sweet almond oil or avocado oil.Ā Some oils canĀ mask the notes of the lavender, so if you want a heavy lavender scent--go with avocado oil.Ā
